What better way to spend an Aussie summer’s day splashing around in your backyard pool. Not only is a pool a great way to entertain yourself, your family and friends, but it also adds value to your property.

The space available

Don’t try and squeeze a large pool into a small backyard. Forfeiting your outdoor entertaining area at the behest of having a massive sparkling pool can quickly wear thin. Ensure you keep much needed space for entertaining your guests and to still be able to have a little garden area to add ambience. 

What is your main reason for getting a pool? 

Is the pool mainly for your kids’ benefit, and will they be using the pool non-stop during summer? This will all affect the shape and size of the pool you select. 

Your budget

You wouldn't be allowed plants or bushes near the fence, either, as rules like 'Non-climbable zone' regulations requires land to be clear of potentially climbable objects within:

• 90 centimetres of a pool fence on the outside
• 30 centimetres on the inside
